Polymorph creates a responsive intuitive website for ESG

Challenge

ESG evaluated their current website and began to realise the number of issues with the existing site. Splitting the website into four key business areas was difficult to understand by potential customers and was not the best approach to locate specific services. It was a struggle for new customers to ascertain what ESG do as a company and overall customer experience of the website was not as good as it could be. ESG wanted to lift limitations on their current content management system and incorporate additional enhanced features such as ‘expert blogs’ as well as the ability to promote job vacancies.

Solution

Polymorph were asked to develop a replacement website covering the following aspects:

  • New content management system to address the issues of adding and amending content and one which included a search feature without the need to implement Google custom search
  • Provide a website design with a fresh look and feel, using high quality images and making it easier to locate services through a service search, A–Z and via industry sectors
  • ESG’s new web site to be made more responsive so that the web pages are optimised for the screen size the website visitor is using and for the new home page to incorporate blog and vacancies items
  • Integration of a blog into the site with photos of relevant experts on the home page giving the site a friendlier and more approachable feel

Result

ESG now have a much more responsive Umbraco based website that is much easier to access via mobile and tablet devices.
