Following on from our success last year at being shortlisted as an IBM Beacon Award Finalist in the 'Best Unified Communications and Collaboration Solution' award category for our service desk product, we are exhibiting again at Lotusphere 2010.
We are using the event to launch our latest software product based in Lotus Notes for consolidating database content - "PDC". Primarily designed for consolidating various instances of our service desk product HelpDeskPro, the PDC can be used for consolidating any Notes database. So what does it do?...imagine you are running the same Lotus Notes application in different countries as stand alone instances of that system - but, you need a global picture of documents and information from both systems...that's what the PDC helps you to achieve. The PDC looks at both instances and pulls the data you need to a single reporting system. In terms of HelpDeskPro this enables stand alone countries / regions to operate HelpDeskPro, but allows global reporting and can also be used to create a global knowledge base for IT staff to search for information.
