Curtain Concessions Ltd, established to acquire the assets of Montgomery Furnishing Ltd, looked to Polymorph to help quickly establish a stable, flexible IT platform to support the business.
Following an initial design and planning workshop with Curtain Concessions Ltd, the following high-level objectives were defined for the project:
- Provision of a messaging system to support a site-resilient model
- Provide easier access to mail for remote users
- Establishing an appropriate server environment for the organisations key operating systems
The importance of project speed was stressed as the business needed to be up and running very quickly – with over 20 concessionary stores already operating within high street retailers and taking orders. Not only that, but the business was moving within weeks from the current premises to another.
We setup Microsoft Office 365 (Exchange Online) for email and migrated an existing on-premise virtualised environment to Microsoft Azure – Microsoft's cloud based hosting platform. In addition we have made a number of significant changes to the core software systems, supported a number of websites that the company use and assisted with moving remaining IT equipment that was still required, provided support help and guidance along the way.
We were able to meet all deadlines and have a delighted customer with secure, reliable systems ready to support the business through this next stage of growth.
